Scientific works and projects elaborated in UIAR at present time

In frame of national programs:

• Organisation of complex radioecological monitoring of farming industry in radionuclide contaminated territories ; 
• Elaboration of the method guide for radiation-hygienic assessment of the territory aiming determination of expediency of the partial remove of lands outside the exclusion zone for their unlimited use without any additional protective measures ;
• Elaboration of standards for permissive levels of ¹³⁷Cs and ⁹⁰Sr content in raw animal products and other objects of the veterinary medical control .

In frame of international collaboration:

• Experimental researches of resuspension of the radionuclides during the forest fires in Chornobyl zone (STCU);
• Long-term countermeasure strategies and monitoring of human exposures in rural areas affected by the Chernobyl accident (IAEA);
• Radioactive Behaviour in the Environment (NSRA, Japan);
• The classification of Ukrainian soil on the transfer factors of radionuclides from  soils to reference plants (IAEA);
• Long-Term Countermeasure Strategies and Monitoring of Human Exposure in Rural Areas Affected by the Chernobyl Accident  (IAEA).
